Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across diverse medical units
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations and critical patient assessments
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Lead patient education initiatives for weekend discharge planning
- Mentor junior staff during weekend rotations
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications mandatory
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 7am-7pm)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Electronic health record proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Experience with trauma/ER or ICU highly desirable
- Flexibility to work occasional holidays as needed
