Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment plans
- Monitor vital signs, document patient progress, and respond to emergency situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead weekend shift operations during peak hospital activity periods
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training
Qualifications
- Current Missouri RN license with unrestricted status
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or emergency department experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
