Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to emergency patients during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with cross-functional care teams during trauma cases
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Respond rapidly to emergency codes and resuscitation events
- mentor new staff members during night shift rotations
Qualifications
- Current California RN license required
- Minimum 2 years ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Spanish language skills highly valued
