Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including patient vitals, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health documentation
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow on weekends
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Ensure sterile exam rooms and equipment readiness
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekends as needed
