Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Document patient observations and care progress in electronic health records
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and family members regarding patient needs
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Support weekend admissions and discharge procedures
Qualifications
- Current Indiana CNA or HHA certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM weekend shifts
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean record
