Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Administer prescribed medications under physician supervision
- Assist with emergency response protocols during night hours
- Maintain sterile equipment and supply inventory
- Collaborate with overnight medical teams on patient care plans
- Respond to patient call lights and provide bedside care
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail in documentation
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Proficient with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Reliable transportation for overnight shifts
