Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document changes accurately
- Assist patients with daily living activities and mobility
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Michigan CNA or PCT certification mandatory
- BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Weekend availability required (no exceptions)
- EMR proficiency preferred (Epic a plus)
