Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, mobility, nutrition)
- Perform basic medical procedures (EKG, phlebotomy, wound care)
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to coordinate patient care
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during high-stress situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred but not required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided if needed)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and empathy for diverse patient populations
- Flexibility to work Saturdays/Sundays 7am-7pm with rotating holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory for healthcare roles)
