Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, mobility, and nutrition
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures under clinician supervision
- Operate diagnostic equipment including EKG machines and phlebotomy tools
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months of clinical or healthcare experience required
- Current BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with medical documentation systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and compassion for diverse patient populations
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening pre-employment
