Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling and registration for weekend services
- Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
- Process weekend lab results and urgent communications
- Assist with discharge planning and follow-up coordination
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- 1+ years healthcare or customer service experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Basic medical terminology knowledge
- Flexibility to cover weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 6AM-6PM)
- Background check and drug screen required
