Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab testsPrepare and maintain medical equipment and sterile environmentsAdminister medications and injections as directedManage patient records and documentation in EHR systemsProvide patient education and post-care instructionsCoordinate with nursing staff for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced settingBLS/CPR certification requiredStrong knowledge of medical terminology and proceduresProficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAvailability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6am-6pm)
