Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Accurately record vital signs and medical histories in electronic health records
- Administer injections and medications as directed by providers
- Sterilize medical equipment and maintain clean exam rooms
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
- Assist with basic laboratory specimen collection and processing
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Athena preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Flexibility to cover both Saturday and Sunday shifts (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
