Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs and basic diagnostic tests
- Manage electronic health records and documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and medical supplies
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-ups
- Administer injections and medications (as certified)
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Basic EHR proficiency (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently on weekends
- Nashville metro area residency required
- Up-to-date CPR certification
