Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital sign monitoring, and ECG procedures
- Assist physicians with clinical exams and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Missouri Medical Assistant certification or CMA/MAA credential
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Weekend availability mandatory (Sat-Sun 7am-7pm)
- Strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance knowledge
