Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vital measurements accurately
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and injections per protocols
- Maintain electronic health records with precision
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate with lab services for specimen collection
- Support front desk operations during peak hours
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Valid California driver's license (for facility transport)
