Responsibilities
- Delight patients with attentive bedside care and emotional support
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs and patient progress
- Coordinate seamlessly with RNs and medical specialists
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Assist with mobility, nutrition, and daily living activities
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergencies
- Complete thorough shift handovers using EMR systems
Qualifications
- Current Georgia CNA or Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
