Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and organize incoming and outgoing shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick items from the warehouse inventory and package them for delivery, ensuring order accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock counts, and report discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and maintain a clean, organized workspace (5S standards).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company and regulatory standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and colleagues to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various floor surfaces.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; proficiency with handheld scanners is a plus.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the Brooklyn facility.
