Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers and pallets using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and process incoming and outgoing inventory to maintain stock levels.
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by picking items from shelves and packaging them securely for shipment.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse (certification provided if needed).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and maintain high accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime if required.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with team leads and management.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for scanning and counting.
- High School Diploma: or equivalent GED preferred.
