Responsibilities
- Efficient Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Accuracy: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records to ensure inventory integrity.
- Packaging: Prepare orders for shipment using appropriate packing materials and labeling systems.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming goods for damage and ensure outgoing packages meet quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized and aisles clear to facilitate efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and completing orders.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends.
