Responsibilities
- Package and Prepare Goods: Safely package items for shipping using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels and assist in cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and handheld scanners to move materials efficiently.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to specific guidelines and quality standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and report any issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to commit to a full-time schedule.
- Communication Skills: Basic reading and writing skills to follow safety instructions and pick lists.
- Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required for all entry-level roles.
