Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move stock and materials within the warehouse.
- Process inbound and outbound shipments with accuracy, ensuring all items are properly labeled and staged for delivery.
- Perform daily cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and reduce shrinkage.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse facility at all times.
- Complete required paperwork, including packing slips and logbooks, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; trade school certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., coolers, dock areas).
- Valid Forklift Certification is required for this position.
