Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vital sign measurements
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examsPrepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
