Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Perform vital signs measurements and document patient information accurately
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Maintain sterile examination rooms and ensure proper inventory of medical supplies
- Schedule patient appointments and manage electronic health records (EHR)
- Assist with patient education regarding treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a medical setting
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Athenahealth preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality
