Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Assist with clinical procedures including vitals, injections, and EKGs
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate with physicians and nursing staff for seamless patient flow
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Handle patient inquiries and schedule management
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- Strong weekend availability and reliability
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Boston-based candidates preferred
