Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize patients in emergency trauma situations
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for critical care coordination
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain patient flow in high-volume ED settings
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
- Educate patients and families on discharge plans
Qualifications
- Active TN RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years ED or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Strong triage and rapid assessment skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments
- Electronic health record proficiency (Epic preferred)
