Responsibilities
- Provide rapid assessment and intervention for critical patients in emergency situations
- Administer medications and treatments per protocols with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license (or compact license with ability to obtain TX license)
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with relevant experience considered)
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
- Demonstrated ability to perform under high-pressure conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Spanish bilingualism highly preferred
