Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency, ICU, and general medical-surgical units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for optimal outcomes
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety protocols
- Mentor new nursing staff during onboarding process
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license (Compact state preferred)
- BSN or higher from accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
