Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency and critical care settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations and critical events
- Train and mentor new nursing staff as needed
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana RN license (or compact license)
- 2+ years of acute care or emergency nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic systems preferred)
