Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in high-acuity emergency department setting
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Assess patient conditions and implement emergency protocols
- Document clinical notes accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license (required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years ER experience preferred
- BSN degree (or equivalent experience)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
