Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department using evidence-based practices
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for acutely ill patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders
- Document patient care thoroughly and maintain electronic health records
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and critical patient conditions
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of ER or critical care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
