Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab procedures with precision
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor clinical procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately and efficiently
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment to maintain sterile environments
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure seamless clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Excellent phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual highly valued)
- Availability for flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
