Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs during overnight shifts
- Assist physicians with examinations and emergency procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Coordinate patient admissions and discharges
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Collaborate with night nursing staff for seamless care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and protocols
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and crisis management skills
