Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments and optimize clinic scheduling
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Assist providers with clinical documentation and administrative tasks
- Deliver exceptional patient communication and support services
- Process insurance verifications and billing documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care
- Urgently respond to patient inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year healthcare administration or clinical experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities
- CA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent preferred
- Availability for 20-30 hours/week, including weekends
