Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs and preliminary patient assessments
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Administer medications and injections per protocol
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and sterile environment standards
- Coordinate lab tests and diagnostic imaging
Qualifications
- Active Florida Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-volume settings
- Background check and drug screen required
- Spanish bilingual a plus
