Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake procedures including vital signs and medical history documentation
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor clinical procedures
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and patient confidentiality
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or diploma from accredited program
- Ohio Medical Assistant license (or eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Medent, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
