Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security protocols for cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Prepare detailed incident reports and executive security briefings
- Lead security awareness training for employees across 15+ departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification (required)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST SP 800-61)
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Ability to work rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 operations
