Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and medical equipment operation
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to coordinate patient care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergency situations
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain confidential patient records
Qualifications
- Current Missouri CNA certification or equivalent healthcare credential
- Minimum 6 months recent clinical experience in acute care setting
- Valid CPR/BLS certification with ability to obtain facility-specific credentials
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
