Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and nursing staff
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and safety protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain sterile environments during procedures
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN/LPN license (required)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications (must be current)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability mandatory (6am-6pm shifts)
- Strong communication skills in English/Spanish
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Background check and drug screen clearance
