Responsibilities
- Manage weekend warehouse operations including inventory control, order fulfillment, and team coordination
- Train and supervise 5-7 weekend staff members on safety protocols and productivity standards
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Generate shift reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate with weekday supervisors for seamless workflow transitions
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for weekend operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in warehouse or logistics
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS experience preferred)
- OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) is mandatory
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
