Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend shift operations ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols
- Lead and mentor 5-7 team members during Saturday/Sunday shifts (6 AM - 2 PM)
- Coordinate inventory management and distribution activities in real-time
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate issues to management as needed
- Conduct shift briefings and maintain accurate shift documentation
- Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in logistics or warehouse operations
- Proven ability to lead teams during non-standard shifts (weekends/holidays)
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Excellent communication skills for team coordination
- Availability to work every weekend (Saturday/Sunday 6 AM-2 PM)
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Boston residency required for local emergency response
