Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced weekend emergency department setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision
- Document patient assessments and interventions in electronic health records
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety protocols
- Provide mentorship to new nursing staff during weekend rotations
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
- Strong assessment skills for emergency and critical care scenarios
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
