Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ER/ICU settings during weekend rotations
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex cases
- Document patient records accurately and timely
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and safety protocols
- Train weekend staff on emergency procedures
- Participate in weekend patient rounds and handoffs
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (required)
- 2+ years ICU/ER experience (preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- EMR proficiency (EPIC preferred)
