Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts (7a-7p)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless patient flow
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Document clinical observations accurately in EMR systems
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Mentor junior staff during weekend rotations
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active NC RN license required
- 2+ years acute care experience preferred
- BLS/ACLS certifications mandatory
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Weekend availability essential (Sat/Sun only)
- Flexibility for holiday rotation as needed
