Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and EKGs during weekend shifts
- Assist providers with examinations, injections, and wound care
- Manage electronic health records and documentation accurately
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Handle lab specimen collection and processing
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in urgent care or ER setting
- Valid BLS certification with ability to maintain
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday shifts as needed
