As a weekend shift Medical Assistant, you'll be pivotal in delivering exceptional patient care during our busiest weekend hours. Our state-of-the-art facility in Central Philadelphia offers modern amenities and a collaborative atmosphere where your skills will shine.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, injections, and EKG procedures
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and maintain examination rooms
- Accurately document patient information in EMR systems
- Coordinate patient flow and manage appointment schedules
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Administer basic lab tests and collect specimens
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 8am-6pm)
