Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with compassion and precision
- Administer medications, treatments, and specialized therapies as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and document clinical progress accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with swift, evidence-based interventions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana (compact license accepted)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years acute care experience considered
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience in telemetry/ICU preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
