Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements and patient assessmentsPrepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Update electronic health records (EHR) accurately
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
- Provide patient education and post-care instructions
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Ohio state medical assistant license
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
- Availability for all weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
