Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and ECG procedures
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and wound care
- Administer medications and injections per protocol
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation and patient records
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate with pharmacy and lab services
- Triage urgent cases and prioritize patient flow
Qualifications
- Current California MA certification or CMA/RMA required
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year urgent care or ER experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Availability Saturdays and Sundays (6am-6pm)
- Background check and drug screen required
