Responsibilities
- Delight patients with exceptional bedside manner during weekend peak hours
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and diagnostic tests
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health documentation
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment between patients
- Triage urgent cases efficiently during high-volume weekend shifts
- Coordinate with lab services for specimen processing
Qualifications
- Active Texas Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year urgent care or emergency room experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 7am-7pm)
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional multitasking and calm demeanor under pressure
- Spanish bilingual skills strongly preferred
