Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Perform vital signs and preliminary health assessments
- Assist with patient documentation and electronic health records
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and nursing staff
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and medical supplies
- Handle weekend patient inquiries and triage calls
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic EHR proficiency (Epic or similar systems)
- Nebraska state BLS certification
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced weekend environments
